Students are invited to join us on Wednesdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm for a Waldorf-inspired schedule that includes: PE, Watercolor, Lunch, Handwork, and Main Lesson.

PE

In this class students will participate in various physical activities that promote learning through movement and play, encourages teamwork, and helps develop motor skills.

Watercolor

Students will explore the world of watercolor painting and develop their inner artist by working on a variety of approaches and techniques.

HANDWORK

Students will work with an experienced handwork teacher to cultivate patience, focus and perseverance all while strengthening their fine motor skills and self-confidence. Examples of handwork include hand sewing, weaving and finger knitting.

Main Lesson

The main lesson is a deep dive into a subject for a period of time. While covering a subject, important skills and subjects will be incorporated, such as writing and composition, grammar, literature, biography, the arts, math, vocabulary, spelling, and more. Example topics include: Anatomy/Physiology, America in the 19th Century, and Geology.
