We Are Now Accepting New Students!
We’re so glad you’re considering The Dreamers’ School for your family!
Choosing the right educational environment for your child is an important decision, and our admissions process is designed to help you get to know Dreamers before enrolling. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about our program, meet our team, visit our campus, and ask questions while we get to know your child and family, too.
Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about applying, scheduling a tour, and joining the Dreamers community.
Have a question along the way? We’re always happy to help! You can send an email to Ren@TheDreamersSchoolOrlando.com with any questions that you may have.
LEARNING ABOUT WALDORF EDUCATION
The Dreamers’ School is a Waldorf-inspired homeschool program. Our classrooms are shaped by many of the principles of Waldorf education, including hands-on learning, storytelling, movement, the arts, time in nature, meaningful routines, and an approach that considers the developmental needs of the whole child.
Families do not need to have prior experience with Waldorf education to join Dreamers. We simply ask that parents take the time to understand our educational philosophy and support the approach their child experiences while they are with us.
We encourage families to ask questions, learn alongside us, and become familiar with the ideas behind our program. When families and teachers share an understanding of the educational approach, children are better able to feel secure, connected, and supported in their experience at Dreamers.
CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
The Dreamers’ School welcomes the opportunity to get to know each child as an individual. We recognize that children come to us with different strengths, challenges, learning styles, and support needs, and we are happy to talk with families about whether Dreamers can provide an environment in which their child can thrive.
As a homeschool program with small, group-based classes, Dreamers does not provide specialized therapeutic, clinical, or one-on-one support services. There may be times when a child requires a level of academic, behavioral, social-emotional, or physical support that we are not equipped to provide while also meeting the needs of the class as a whole.
During the admissions process, we ask families to openly share information about any accommodations, diagnoses, services, or support their child currently receives or may need. This helps us thoughtfully determine whether our program is a good fit and whether we can safely and appropriately support the child within our setting.
Enrollment and continued enrollment are dependent upon The Dreamers’ School’s ability to meet a student’s needs within the resources and structure of our program.
APPLICATION & TOUR TIMELINE
WHEN TO APPLY & TOUR
The Dreamers’ School offers year-round enrollment and tours as space allows. If you are interested in starting right away, you are welcome to apply and schedule a tour at any time during the school year.
If you are planning ahead, we recommend applying and touring during the semester before you would like your child to begin.
Children may begin attending Dreamers at four years old. Because class sizes are limited, enrollment priority is given to students attending multiple days
